Training and Team Member development is a top priority for Todd Harcourt, the Spring-Green lawn care franchise owner in Lexington, SC. Todd and his Team were recognized at Spring-Green’s National Training Conference in August of 2011 by having the highest number of courses completed on Spring-Green’s Online Learning Center.
Through the Online Learning Center, or OLC, Todd and his lawn care team have improved their knowledge in the areas of customer service, sales expertise, lawn, tree and shrub problems, and safety, including proper handling of pest control materials. His commitment to training was instrumental in Todd earning this recognition as a dedicated lawn care franchisee.
Doing Lawn Care “the Spring-Green Way”
Todd recently nominated one of his Field Service Professionals, Alex Wright, for selection into the Spring-Green Employee Hall of Fame. Since 1996, 62 individuals have been inducted into the Hall of Fame. This award is based on a Team Member’s performance as it relates to the Spring-Green Standards of Quality, Service, Professionalism and Value.
In his nomination, Todd wrote that Alex takes pride in the lawns that he services and takes it personally when a lawn does not respond well to the treatments. He also wrote that Alex is a fine example for other Team Members and is willing to work with them to make sure they do things “The Spring-Green Way.” Based on these comments, Alex was chosen as one of two recipients of the 2011 Spring-Green Employee Hall of Fame. He received his award during the 2012 Professional Development Seminar on January 11.
